We've installed a HD-CEU2 (1TB) NAS and connected through the network...not USB.

I copied filed onto the NAS and all looks good.  After starting MS Word, I pull up a file from the NAS, modify it, and when I attempt to save it back to the NAS I get a dialog box error to the effect that I'm out of memory or the disc is full.  If I reattempt the save, I get an error that says there are too many files open.

I get the same error if the document I'm working on is new or pulled from the NAS.  Other programs work fine, and if I save the file locally rather than the NAS, the save is normal.  It's only when saving from Word back to the NAS that I get errors.

Anyone else encounter anything like this?

How have you connected this through the network?  Do you have a router with a usb capable port?

Is it the HD-CELU2?  Which is the flexnet which has the USB and NAS functionality on it?

Hi, I am getting the exact same problem! Mine is connected via the cat5e cable. Is this a glitch or is there a firmware update?

what version of firmware are you running?

I have a similar problem, except that when I place MSoft Office files on the NAS, then I try to open them from the NAS, I get an Office error saying "X file is currently in use.  Try again later."  And it doesn't open.  And there is no one else using the files, or on the network.  

I am using theCELU-2, the one with both Lan and USB capability, plugged into my wireless router.

Firmware:  BUF-CELU2-1.4.B LOADER 3.5W1.9

I am running XP home, and Office 2007 Home.

I tried turning the NAS off and then on.  I did a 'reset' of the NAS through the web interface.  I can open other files, but not Office.
