Title: Solution to My Linkstation SHARE issues and SMB1 problem Win 10 -
Post by: tcl on March 19, 2018, 11:50:14 AM
hi there. I woke up to find my LinkStation™ 400 Series - LS441DE not working. unable to view the storage folders in any way, unable to access previously shared drives, unable to map new ones. I found very few specific things that helped but after perusing a solution all in german and some windows support solutions I stumble upon this in

Control panel --- Programs > Programs and Features > Turn Windows Features on or off > scroll down to SMB 1.0 / CIFS File Support
Make sure all boxes are checked. My Client box was unchecked. Restart. and it works  https://gyazo.com/25a56a212a1a13114af71560e575f339
I believe a Windows 10 update did this because that was the most recent change to my computer.
