Title: Old LinkStation Live not seen on network or direct connection to Mac
Post by: cappy2112 on February 17, 2018, 09:29:45 PM

Hi,

I won a LinkStation Live (2TB) a few years ago, its been in a closet until today.

I've connected it directly to the ethernet connector on my MacBook Pro, ran the Link Navigator software that came on the
DVD with the drive. I originally plugged the drive directly into my MacBook Pro, ran the software, but the drive as not detected.

I then connected the drive to my router, and repeated the process. Again the drive wasn't found.
I've also tried a ,more recent version of the software (2.92) from the Buffalo website, but doesn't see the drive at all.

I would appreciate some help trying to make this drive work.

thanks

Tony
