Title: LS-Q1.0TL/R5 - Fail to format USB drive using disk format tool in Web Admin
Post by: roller on June 27, 2009, 10:24:41 PM

I have connected a WS ES 500GB USD HD to my linkstation quad. Tried to reformat the drive from NTFS to XFS. The format process will start but it will fail at the end.

I do see that the power led on the linkstation's power led flashing pink-ish during the process. Not sure what that means.

Please advise. Thank you

firmware version 1.10

The USB drive, is it single drive, or does it have multiple drives in it?

The red LED on the unit should flash a "code", try to count times it flashes red before a pause!

Try "Initializing" the unit through the web interface
