Title: Linkstation LS220
Post by: sandstorm on January 16, 2018, 10:16:22 AM
Hi all,

I have one of these but it has recently failed, it just got really unreliable very quickly disappearing from my network and then coming back again but dragging a file was a very long slow painful process which usually failed before completion. I bought the exact same model and put my current 4tb drives in hoping this would solve the problem but it didn't. I would like to save as much data from the drives as possible, can anybody help on how I could recover the files? I have plugged the drives into my pc but windows doesn't recognise them. Any advice would be much appreciated.

The file system is XFS which windows cannot natively read, try a recovery program like UFS explorer to recover the data or failing that talk to a data recovery company.
