Title: Any plans for SMB v3 for LinkStation 200 Series
Post by: tridy on January 13, 2018, 02:30:21 PM
Hi.

Are there any plans for adding SMB v3 to LinkStation 200 Series (http://www.buffalotech.com/products/linkstation-200-series) devices?

The latest firmware update (v1.66 2017-27-06) has only SMB v2.

Thanks

SMB 3 will probably not be added to this unit.

SMB 3 will probably not be added to this unit.

At this point, my media player cannot work even using SMB2 with Linkstation.

So I had to downgrade my player to SMB1 to be able to communicate with LinkStation.

Is there a way for me to check the LinkStation SMB version myself, besides trusting "v2" text in UI?

Thanks.
