G'Day,
after a power failure the TeraStation Pro we use "boots" into
System Error E04
Can't Load Krnl
We tried everything from the list her:
- tftp, conncted to a M$ PC: We never see any bit coming from the TSPro,
so tftp didn't work
- EM boots and boots and boots and boots..... (neverending story)
So HOW can we bring back the TeraStationPro into a - let's say - new status (we have a backup on a USB HD connected to the TSPro and pray (!) that this copy is readable later....)
HELP !
G'Day,
with only disk 1 "in" the TSPro starts with the EM button pressed in the EM mode, ip 192.168.11.150 and no array info.
What to do next to
a.) bring back the OLD system with the data
or
b.) bring back a NEW system and later copy the data from the external USB drive
I managed to login, looks like the boot disk /dev/sda1 is not longer bootable (sorry, I'm not a Linux expert, I work more with Solaris)
root@TS-HTGL-EM66E:~# fdisk -l
Disk /dev/sda: 500.1 GB, 500107862016 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 60801 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sda1 1 37 297171 83 Linux
/dev/sda2 38 99 498015 83 Linux
/dev/sda4 100 60801 487588815 5 Extended
/dev/sda5 100 116 136521 82 Linux swap
/dev/sda6 117 60784 487315678+ 83 Linux
So the solution should be (?) to make /dev/sda1 bootable again ?
Cu & Tnx for help
