Title: LS Quad 4TB - Trying to update firmware via direct connection
Post by: rstarbuck on June 25, 2009, 10:59:42 PM

Hi,

I called into the tech support line and reported a constant flashing blue LED and no response from my LS-Quad. I was instructed to connect the unit directly to the PC and try to upgrade the firmware.

NasNavi now "sees" the drive, but  in "EM" mode and with a "?" over the icon. The firmware updater finds the drive, but when I click "update" it says that it "couldn't confirm a response" from the LS. I've tried again w/ no software firewalls active, but with the same results.

The blue LED is also now constant, BTW.

What firmware version is being shown? What's the IP of the NAS?
