Title: Web access
Post by: epsteel on October 19, 2017, 02:48:09 PM
Hi all,
I have been given a HS-DHGL94D NAS box. The people who gave it to me were not computer literate and would not have payed around with it much other than using as a server.

I want to set up web access as one of our offices has a Buffalo NAS DL500 and the manual I have downloaded does not match the device they have.
However that box does not require a BuffaloNAS.com key and mine does.
I have entered a name and a key and it tells me the name or password is incorrect?

I have chosen a Welsh name, so unlikely to be used but tried three variations of it anyway, with different passwords, with same result.

How can I 'reset' the device. It has not been used by me in over a year and I only just discovered web access from the other NAS and wanted to try on mine at home.?

TIA
