Title: LinkStation Pro Duo and DIRECTV HR20
Post by: incaico on October 29, 2008, 11:24:00 PM

Would like some help in getting my audio files to play on my HD DVR.  I am able to see my pics and even some MPEG2 encoded video but all of my audio files have an X at the beginning of the name and 0:00 for the time.  If I connect to my PC, then I can play my files but not the the NAS.

HELP!

It appears that the DirecTV DVRs are not DLNA compliant, but they have support for Intel Viiv technology. Viiv is similar to DLNA, but the two are not completely interoperable. Thus, the DVR (Viiv) and our NAS devices (DLNA) may work together somewhat, but interoperability between the two devices cannot be guaranteed.
