Title: LSQV with 7 red led flashes
Post by: TimN42 on August 16, 2017, 11:37:04 PM
Hi,

I shut down and locked-up my LSQV while on vacation. Now that I'm back, I plugged in pwr and reconnected Ethernet to my gateway to discover it won't connect, giving me (7) quick Red LED flashes. The (4) drive LEDs are Green.

I can't connect via NasNavigator2 nor IP address.

Any suggestion? I have lots of data on this NAS I don't want to lose.

Thanks,

Tim

Not good, do you have a backup?

Hi Davo,

I have an old back-up, I really need the data on these drives.

I'm running RAID 5, the reason I have the NAS so if I have a HD crash I can rebuild.

What are my options?

Thanks,

Tim

I managed to buy another LS-QVL on ebay (expected next week).

Can I plug in my (4) drives (Raid 5) and retrieve my data? or will it initialize and wipe out the data?

Thanks,

Tim

I have the same exact product and just had the same exact issue. Cant seem to log into the GUI either. I thought there would be some kind of diagnostic tool to tell me that a drive was going bad and which one it was.

Why is this in "solved storage threads" ?  There is no solution here.

Hi Tim,

Were you able to solve this problem?

Is it possible to place the 4 drive array into a new Enclosure?

Thanks,
Adri
