Title: Slow Backup to TerraStation Pro iSCSI
Post by: MeenanM on June 22, 2009, 08:02:55 AM

I have the TerraStation iSCSI RM and attached it to a Win2K03 server. It is linked using iSCSI and I had to enable LVM to setup a volume. Backbone is 1GB wired.

A backup that once took about 6 hours to tape is not taking 24.25 hours to complete.

What can be done to make the backup occur in a reasonable time?
