my drive started showing a yellow light on front and now I can't connect to it, my computer doesn't see it anymore, i have tried for a month to get it to work, not even the software can see it.
Does it show up in disk managment? Also is the drive making any noise (clicking/grinding)?
No it doesn't show up in disk management, it did before the yellow light started to come on but for the past month nothing, i do get an error saying that the usb device is not working or malfunctioning. The drive is not making any noises to speak of, it is still within a year old
I would call support and set up an RMA. If it's not showing up in disk mangament then there isn't much troubleshooting to do.
