Title: LS-VLFC6
Post by: BEP1952 on March 10, 2017, 05:32:58 PM
I have two Link Stations; an LS210D9D5 and an LS-VLFC6. The first one works great - the older LS-VLFC6 has become unreachable. I can't connect to its IP address, and I don't seem to have the password.

Some history: The LS-VLFC6 was displaying a red status light. I added the LS210D9D5, and recently updated its firmware. Now the LS-VLFC6 shows a blue status light. The NAS Navigator 2 shows icons for both link stations, but LS-VLFC6 doesn't show in my windows explorer window, I can't reach it by its IP address, and it denies the password when I try to access it through NAS Navigator 2.

So now I'm pretty confused. Here's another piece of fun - the LS-VLFC6 doesn't have a function button on the front - just a hole where one should be. I don't think it ever had its button.

I want to access the LS-VLFC6. If that's not possible, I'm willing to wipe it and make it work again, if possible. Can anyone make any sense of this for me?

Thanks!
