Title: Password issue
Post by: jkolker on February 14, 2017, 09:50:56 AM
Hello,

I have an LS220D0402 that seems to have a password problem.  I cannot log in as admin.  I have 7 total Buffalo drives, and set them all up with the same password.  This one drive will no longer log in, and since it I know it had the same password as the others, I didn't forget it, something has happened.  The other drives log in just fine.

Thought I would call support, but apparently that is no longer an option.  Can't find the number anywhere on the site, and my drive is out of warranty.  So, is there a way to recover a password?  I saw a several year old post about some utility, but you have to call support to get it.  And I can't... so, any ideas?

Thanks,
Jeff

Have you tried resetting it using the function button?

Yes, it asked me for my log in after all was done.  Still didn't recognize the password.
