Title: LS-WXL Error E14
Post by: RMDS on February 09, 2017, 11:59:05 AM
I do not profess to being a computer buff and have come up against a bit of a problem. I'm hoping one of you knowledgeable people will be able to help.

I have a LS-WXL drive containing two 1TB drive. On Monday I note a red flashing light and it is reporting an E14 error. I understand that this relates to an error in mounting the Raid. I urgently need some of the data off of these drives so I bought a Sata to USB lead. I plugged the drives in and I just get a message saying that they need to be formatted. When checking in disk management the drives are reporting as being 100% free? I know this is incorrect as last week I was accessing the data on them.

I would appreciate any help in resolving this issue and I look forward to hearing from you.
