Title: Not able to login to network folder or admin account
Post by: seabeast51 on January 23, 2017, 12:55:15 PM
Hey everyone,

At the company I work for, we had an IT company that set up a Buffalo LS441D158 as our server. They also added our shared data center folder to all the computers on the network. There is a management folder I want to add to another computer, but I can't figure out how to login to the network folder. I've also tried to use the NAS Navigator to login to the server, but the default admin password has changed. I called the company that set up the NAS and they don't know what the login is and the person that came out to set it up has since left the company.

My main question is, is there any way to find out the password used to access the shared folder on another computer that already has access to it? Additionally, is there a way to reset the admin password without losing data, location of shared folders, etc?

Thanks for any help.
