Title: Issues after powercut on LS220D
Post by: PaulMC64 on January 21, 2017, 09:33:25 AM
Hi
After a powercut my NAS was flashing red. So I thought it was a hard drive issue.
So I checked both hard drives via Seagate Utilities and they seem ok.

But checking using the buffalo app it shows my drives as unformatted.

Also I cant access the root area to get into settings. The screen is blank..

I tried to contact buffalo but no response.

Any ideas. I dont want to lose my data as I have holiday videos, photos going back years,

Have you had any success fixing the issue?  I am currently having the exact same problem.  I had a hard drive go bad and was in the process of testing/replacing it and during that time frame my setting screen stopped displaying.  I have tried IE, Chrome, and Firefox browsers all with the same results other than Chrome does show some white outlines for some of the links on the top of the page but they don't do anything.  I was able to update the firmware to the latest version without any issues.  I tried that thinking that might fix the issue but didn't change anything.

Thanks,
