Title: 4x4T TS5400D06E RAID5 - Boot Fail - How to recover pls
Post by: yamks188 on January 14, 2017, 10:24:28 AM
1) LCD display "rev update" info prompt - reboot to override error prompt
2) Encountered "boot fail" - boot from USB that come with enclosure
3) Encountered "recover I45 recovery failed" & "ver. no info"
4) Run TSupdater - debugging mode, check on do not check version, rebuild partition table & force update - format aborted - "disk1 signature fail"
5) replaced brand new disk1 - performed TSupdater with below checked:
update boot
update kernel
update initrd
update rootfs
do not check version
force update
6) successfully boot up with ver3.42 - but was in RAID0 instead of RAID5
please help on how to recover RAID5 partition data, thanks in advance.
