Title: Replacing 2tb with 4tb in LS-XL Case
Post by: imawilder on December 31, 2016, 07:50:55 AM
Hey Guys, I have a LinkStation Live (LS-X) - LS-X2.0TL that has stopped working. Can I buy and replace the 2tb drive with a raw 4tb drive in this same case? Thanks in advance for any help...

You can replace the disk but you need the OS and TFTP image to put onto the new disk.

I have a ls-wx1.0tl / 1d-r and it's failing, how can I read what's on the disk and recover the data?
Can I install it on another linkstation in the ls-w family?
I tried to read the disk from my computer but I could not
