Title: Ministation Air 2 No Longer Sending WiFi Signal
Post by: MintyFresh on December 17, 2016, 02:57:13 PM
I own the MiniStation™ Air - HDW-PD1.0U3 and it recently stopped putting out a WiFi signal. The blue WiFi signal light no longer lights up and it no longer shows up in the list of available networks on any of my wireless devices. Because I am not able to connect to the device wirelessly, I am unable to access the settings through the app on my iPhone or iPad. It doesn't matter whether the hard drive is charging or not, there is no WiFi signal. I can still access my files by connecting it to my computer through USB, but I bought this hard drive for its wireless network feature.

I have tried using the reset button to restore the factory settings, but that did not fix the issue.

It is still under warranty, but I would prefer not to have to transfer nearly 1 TB of data to a new drive. Is there a way to fix this, or do I just need to request a replacement?
