Title: LS410D goes off network
Post by: KenHirsh on December 11, 2016, 04:53:29 PM
I had been following a thread on this last year that seems to have disappeared. With the latest firmware 1.81-.3, this model goes off network usually within 24 hours. When I back-rev'd the firmware, it stayed online, but when attempting to save more than a few MB to it, it errored out. Has anyone got a solution for this? Is Buffalo likely to make a new firmware available after eighteen months of problems with 1.81?

Sounds like a bad HDD, what does the log say?

I believe the unit only logs backup or other writing activity. There is not a general status log.
