I Have a number of Terastation - TS-XEL devices.  I had one get a failed drive 3 a couple of weeks ago.  I've got another of the same model at my desk, that failed a while ago, but had a couple of good drives.  I wiped one of these drives, sent it to the tech, who hot-swapped it into the device.  We did not receive the reaction from the device we thought we would.  It did not recognize the drive, and did not start rebuilding the array.  When I loggd into the web console, the only option for that drive was Remove Drive.  Once I did that, I had the option to format the drive, which I did.  After that, I had the tech remove it and reseat it again.  From that time, this is what I get when I login to the web console:

"Changing RAID Array...

Cannot change all of the configurations until changing Raid Array is completed.  Also share folder service is not working.

I have no idea what the device is doing, and it's been stuck like this since yesterday afternoon.  Does anyone have any ideas?

I'm more or less in the same boat, having the message "Cannot change all of the configurations . . ." for the last 19 hours, although I have somewhat different front panel indicators. I don't have to protect any data on my RAID-5 array.

What did you do to resolve this problem?

1.Login as admin.

2.Drives--Raid--
