Title: LS-WXLC12 brief blue activity then dies red error blink 07?
Post by: amonroejj on November 14, 2016, 08:01:39 PM
My LS-WXLC12 is no longer accessible. On powerup I get some brief blue activity light, then then dies with the red error LED blinking pattern in what I'm interpreting as 07 (* * * * * * * _ _ _ ).

1. I checked the manual ( http://manual.buffalo.jp/buf-doc/35020118-02_EN.pdf ). I didn't see any code corresponding to this blink pattern.

2. I tried running with only the left drive inserted, and with only the right drive inserted, but I still ended up with a blinking red light in both cases. I put both drives back in, still just the blinking red light.

Isn't E07 corrupted firmware?

According to the linked doc, that's E04.

What raid mode are you using? Do you have a backup?

Mirror. Do they use some kind of normal filesystem I could read if I stuck the good drive into another Linux box?
