Title: Accidentally flashed over DD-WRT on WHR-300HP2D
Post by: 6-o-9 on November 08, 2016, 03:48:41 AM
I tried to flash a new version of the firmware to my WHR-300HP2D and to my surprise it updated itself to the stock "AirStation" firmware.  I previously had DD-WRT and this is what came preinstalled on the router when I purchased it.

I have been trying all day to flash DD-WRT back to the router with no success.

I was able to convert back to a DD-WRT image (from the 'User Friendly') using this:

ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/others/eko/BrainSlayer-V24-preSP2/2014/04-18-2014-r23919/buffalo_whr_300hp2/

Using the firmware-us.bin file.

I haven't tested bringing it back to a factory image from here but at least this improves on the Airstation default.
