Is anybody else experiencing issues with their CS-WX1 since PogoPlug cancelled their free plan? Specifically, I've been unable to access the drive at all, including a direct/wired connection. Does this model still have any use if I don't subscribe to PogoPlug? Thanks!

LAN access would not be affected by pogoplugs removal of their free account. Any errors on the unit or in the NAS Navigator? What OS are you using?

I'm having the same problems with some of my units.  I have 4 CloudStor units that I've had registered with the PogoPlug service for years.  2 of my units lost their connection to the cloud in the last couple of weeks (may have been sooner but that is when I noticed) and I can't find any information about the service's status online.  My guess is the PogoPlug service has gone the way of the dodo bird.  Another company who starts up something and can't deliver because of their failed business plans. 
My 2 units that I can't connect to on the LAN may have hardware problems but ultimately I will need to do a low level restore of the OS to check this.  There is no data on there that I don't have copies elsewhere so I'm not worried about it.

In my mind, PogoPlug sucks as they leave us hanging with the CloudStors that don't have access.  I'm going back to old school and switching to a locally controlled FTP server for my file sharing going forward. 

I'm having this exact same issue and I'm at my wits end trying to resolve it.  I'm not able to access the drive at all, either directly on my network or through the ridiculously worthless pogoplug "environment".  In addition, I'm not able to log into the CS-WX unit to change the settings or even access them as the default admin password is no longer working.

I'm not sure if there are other threads that have already addressed this issue, so I thought I'd follow along with this thread as well.  Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I can access my drive when I am on the local network, but no go anymore with the pogoplug.com website.  The whole point of having the "cloud" drive is being able to access it remotely.  Anyone have any idea on who to contact to get this working again?

Try your drive again.  Mine is working today, maybe Pogoplug restored their service.  I didn't reboot or do anything.  It's just working again.

Same issue. Anyone know if there is a workaround to access remotely? I use this drive for business and now can't access files when I need them...
