Title: Boot image for Buffalo TS-Xe.0 TL/R5
Post by: emertz on November 03, 2016, 05:48:32 AM
Hello,

I am getting a E6 error when I boot up my terrastation

I had to replace all drives but I was not aware that I needed an image file for the station

I have already tried downloading some of the images on here:

But I am having no luck.

Thanks,

Davo - Same issue

I have a TeraStation TS-XE8.0TL/R5 that was being used by a department that was disbanded six months ago.  They pulled all the hard drives out when they left.  I have replaced them with new Western Digital 1 TB NAS drives, WD10EFRX but I keep getting TFTP Mode E06 Lost Boot Image.  I have the password for admin and an additional user.  Here is what I've done so far:
-   Reset button does nothing
-   Machine IP is 192.168.11.150 and my computer is set to 192.168.11.1
-   NAS Navigator 2 doesn't see the TeraStation
-   I've downloaded firmware update tsx166 but TSUpdater doesn't find the unit
-   I've downloaded TFTP Boot Recovery TS-XL 1.00
-   Unit will connect on boot up and unit connects
-   Blocks are transferred for uImage and initrd files
-   Display never changes from error message TFTP Mode E06 Lost Boot Image
What do I need to do to reset this unit?
