Title: Link Station LS-WXL0C6 Bloating Network
Post by: DCBUS on October 17, 2016, 12:44:20 PM
Hello,

Just recently I have noticed a major slow down on my internal network. I just used Wireshark to help determine the cause and I am finding that my LS is overloading my network. I have multiple computers on the system, but for some reason the LS and my Imac are just conversing. In a one second interval they spoke 1000 times. Looking at the packets from Wireshark, on approximately 10,000 caught, about 9000 were communications between these two. What might cause this issue? As I have other Macs on the system and no issues?

Thanks JR

Hello,

Thank you for the quick reply. In the Buffalo software, I do not have back running for this Imac. I do use the backup, but for a Windows machine.

Thanks JR
