Title: Windows 10 Build 14915 and Build 14926
Post by: EOFMSF1 on September 16, 2016, 06:59:20 AM
I have two Buffalo NAS Drives on my local network.

A LS420D202 which had worked fine on Windows 7 and all versions of Windows 10 including Build 14915 and 14926.

The problem is with a LS-WXL90D  which had worked fine on Windows 7 and all versions of Windows 10 through Build 14905
However with Build 14915 and Build 14926, the drive is not recognized by Windows 10 Windows Explorer. I cannot see previously established shared folders. I cannot map a shared folder by url. I get a message about no connection established see administration. That would be me. Navigator appears to work fine for both drives through all the Builds. I have had to back out each of the subject builds. Does anyone know what is going on?.

Can you Map a share using the IP as apposed to the hostname?

I tried mapping to the IP and to the Device name, neither worked.

i think your problem is the same as mine, and possibly to do with the new windows anniversary update.
