Title: Username/Password for TS1400 from Windows 7
Post by: pcmedic on August 24, 2016, 03:41:51 PM
Hi,

We added a TS1400 to the network to repalce a dead NAS from another vendor.  I created users, but I do not want them to have to enter a username and password every time they connect to the share.  It seems checking off save credentials in windows is not working and after a reboot the user needs to re-enter the username and password.  Is there a way to turn that off on the TS1400 or is there something wrong in windows?
Thanks.

If the username/password you created on the NAS matches there windows username/password then they won't be prompted to enter it. Are you using and AD domain?
