Title: Trying to replace 1tb drives with 3 tb. LS-WX2
Post by: bmayzer on August 09, 2016, 06:17:37 PM
Hi,

My LS-WX2.0 NAS, firmware 1.34 has run out of room using two 1 tb drives in RAID 1 mode.

I've tried everything I can think of and all suggestions I've been able to locate and cannot get the NAS to be found by NAS Navigator.

I've tried putting the new drives in the NAS, and then doing a factory reset, but all I get is a code of 6. If I put the old drives back in, they work, except I get an error saying "Error 13 in Raid array 1.

I don't see how I can have bad firmware with the new drives and no firmware errors with the old. I checked firmware revisions before swapping the drives.

Old drives - seen on NAS Navigator > New drives, not seen. New drives are in the approved list.

I'd appreciate any ideas anyone has.

Thanks

Bob

The OS is on the disks so if you swop the disks the unit has no OS to boot from, with new disks you need the TFTP image to install onto the new disks.
