Title: LS-WVL - Flashing Red 6 times
Post by: kairchuan on August 08, 2016, 10:27:53 PM
I have LS-WV2.0TL.  I tried to flash the firmware to V1.71 and now the drive is useless.  It flashes red 6 times and NAS or LSupdater cannot find the driver.  Any assistance appreciated.  Thanks.

You need to TFTP the unit to put it into EM mode then reinstall the firmware.

I found the answer to my issue in this forum.  Buffalo NAS software code is extremely flaky. The firmware flash was completed correctly on the first pass weeks ago but the LS-WV could not boot up after 1200 secs.  It sat with 6 flashing red lights.

Just need to use tftp and all back in order again.
