Title: LS 520 setup and file transfer.
Post by: Okem on June 19, 2016, 11:46:39 AM
Hi,

I'm new to NAS drives and trying to get my head around this approach. I have bought a LS 520 to use as network storage for movies and video. Are there any good user guides online I can read up on? The User manual didn't answer half my questions.

For starters, I have a USB external drive with a few TBs of files that I want to transfer over to my NAS. What's the fastest way to go about this? The web interface only wants to transfer single files so that seems convoluted. The Direct Copy option does not seem applicable either. So I guess that just leaves connecting to the drive through Finder (Mac) and drag and dropping the files into a public folder. Right?

thanks in advance.
