Title: Did my 2.4Ghz radio die?
Post by: pgrunwald on May 25, 2016, 10:16:42 PM
I have my WL1 interface set to channel 3 on my  WZR-1750DHPD.  With WiFi Analyzer,  I usually read about -40-50dBm.  This morning all the 2.Ghz devices in the house are failing to connect and WiFiAnalyzer is showing below -90dBm or not at all.

I did a factory reset of the router and set everything up again with no change.  I'm running Firmware: DD-WRT v24SP2- (06/12/14) std.

Power is set at 71 (default) and cannot be changed.  Status says TX power is 1496 mW and radio is on.

I put in a support ticket but I have not heard back today.  Router was purchased new last November.

Any suggestions or advice is appreciated.

*UPDATE*  5Ghz signal is strong but will not authenticate any device including a Dell Venue, Ipad Air, Xbox One, and new Vizio smart TV.  I think the radio is fried.
