Title: Linkstation
Post by: dotmatrix48 on May 23, 2016, 05:48:06 PM
Model LS-Wx2.OTL/R1.  I had updated firmware to 1.71.  I got a message on Navigator to replace my drive immediately. I used partition master to reformat my two 1TB drives in my Linkstation using my computer.  I deleted all the partitions and formatted to one partition in each drive in GPT. Did I format the drives wrong?  Should I have formatted to MBR or FAT32?  My Linkstation is in emergency mode now and I don't know what to do. My computer is running Windows 8.1.  Is there a list of procedure to follow to get Linkstation to recognize drives to setup again?  I would appreciate any assistance on instructions to reformat the drives to get it working again.  When I tried to redo firmware it says no partitions found.  I love my Buffalo Linkstation and have had it for many years without any problems until now.  Please help me if you can.

Receiving this error message: NAS Navigator2
Status:  Emergency mode. Update the firmware or contact technical support. (2016/05/23 17:55:08)
I can't login to LinkStation Configuration Utility because I don't get (Open Web Setting) option from the menu.
