Title: Failed Chassis - Have "new" replacement chassis - Do I need to pre-configure ?
Post by: bkinney on April 29, 2016, 05:23:31 PM
Old chassis won't power up, so I bought a brand new, complete unit, same model.

I want to put old drives into new chassis, but I am concerned that I should pre-configure some items (RAID Settings? Other?) before popping in the drives with data on them.

Anyone ever do this before?  What should I watch out for?
