Title: Auto Power Mode Setting, what does it mean?
Post by: TommySt on April 26, 2016, 11:01:40 AM
In the software, NAS Navigator 2, there is a setting called Auto Power Mode Setting.

If you click on it there is an information that is really bad translated for me (from english to swedish I guess) so I don´t really understand what to expect.

Of course I believe it has something to do with energy saving but I don´t notice any difference if I click the Send energy mode to NAS (that´s how that sentence is translated) or not.

?

Also, I don´t know what to expect of my NAS when it comes to the behavior when it´s not supposed to be working.
I guess you can´t compare standby mode on a NAS with a, for example, TV (that "really" turns of and has to be activated very obvious)?
For me the fan in my NAS is running all the time.

I´ve also tried the Sleep timer settings as you reach using the web interface/software. With those (used by night) I really reach a sleeping mode.

My model is LS220D.
