Title: Offline Files Cache?
Post by: slemay on October 28, 2008, 09:16:46 AM

The documentation on this is very little.

Can you provide a better explanation of this feature please?  It's located on a TeraStation II Pro - under the SHARE option.

What do the different settings do?  What exactly is it caching to?  Is this related to Windows offline - or is this something else entirely?

Thanks,

Shawn

This is related to Windows caching, it will only cache one machine, so in most set ups this will not be used.

Can you be much more specific please?  Being we're using it in an AD environment with notebooks as some of our clients.  We're having issues getting offline files to work correctly - and think this may be the issue.  Can you post more documentation on it if possible please?  Thanks!
