Title: trouble with LS220DE setup
Post by: pelliott321 on April 12, 2016, 04:46:25 PM
Installed brand new same model 2TB HDS turned on unit and it started initializing then the lower LED went red.
turned off unit. turned back on while holding in function button then pressed function button, then unit started initializing again and lower LED went red.
Installed NAS Navigator 2 , found unit but says its in "Emergency Mode" suggested to update firmware, ran updater but get error message saying it cannot find partition
so I am at a roadblock with nowhere to turn

Press the function button quickly (dont press and hold), wait 10 mins and it will install the firmware. Bare in mind it will erase both disks.
