So I am struggling trying to find a cloud based option to back up my Buffalo Linkstation.   

I have 2 basic requirements-
1- An option that will actually back up NAS- many options that are out there do not.
2- That is syncs- meaning that it knows when I add a new file and automatically adds that to the backup.

I hope there is a good option out there and I'm just missing it....I've looked online with not a lot of good options.

Linkstation won't do this, you need a terastation 4000 or 5000 series, it has a built in dropbox backup option.

I'm really not looking for Linkstation to do anything....I'm looking for a service that will back up everything I have on my NAS to the cloud.

What Linkstation do you have?

I think I found a solution.....going to stay with Amazon Cloud Drive and use a service (Good Sync as an example) that will sync my Linkstation with ACD.  Hoping that it works.

Without even knowing what NAS you have it's impossible to say! Good Luck!
