Title: Linkstation WXL storage upgrade
Post by: mbalkham on March 02, 2016, 11:53:36 PM
Hopefully a quick question from a newbie.

I've upgraded 2 no. 1TB drives (Raid 1) to 2 no. 3TB drives and transferred the data (removing one drive at a time and rebuilding the Raid). Data accessible from new drives no problems. Disks show capacity of 2794.5GB but array still shows capacity of 961.6GB and 85% used. Prob done something silly but can't work out how to fix it. Still have both 1TB containing the data if they are needed for the fix.

Need any response spelt out in plain language!

Thanks in advance

Matt

You need to delete and recreate the RAID for the new capacity to show, this will erase any data on the unit.
