Title: Source and Destination issues
Post by: lifted on June 10, 2009, 02:34:17 PM

Hi, Brand new to the forum.   In my shared folders menu I have 3 folders:  Share,

Share-Backup,  and USB disk1.

My first question is what is the disk backup checkbox really telling it to do?

I ask because if I check said box for my Share-Backup, AND  my USBdisk 1, then when I try to create backup jobs, the Usb disk1 always ends up in  the destination  drop- down box even though I told it to go to the Share-backup for the destination and applied it.

My second question is :  when you are in the Disk Backup menu, looking at your destination,  you have a source and destination showing with the checkbox on the left, and then under that, you have the two drop down boxes for source and dest.   They aren't the same.  what is going on?

Third question: why does USBdisk1 override every other destination if I have it checked as disk backup in Edit shared folders menu?  thanks in advance   Lifted

Sorry, didn't mention It's a LS-GL5E3  version 1.11

I thought of another question:what are the difference in the

overwritebackup/(differentialbackup)  and the overwrite backup/(complete differential)?
