Hi Guys,

I am in India and I have Windows7. I have got a China made (2012 year) external MINI STATION hard disk. I have given below its particulars. I would like to install SOFTWARE which should be for the purpose of locking the WHOLE hard disk COMPLETELY for safer use, I mean, opening and using the complete hard disk should be done with its software only.
MODEL NO:  HD-PCTU3


Please arrange to send me the link that has the software and the details of how to install the same software step by step method.
I may uninstall Windows7 and reinstall the same or its latest one for any purposes. I have a doubt, "Will the password, which we was already given on my external hard disk using Windows7, work or not if the OS is reinstalled or updated or changed?

I downloaded all from the link that you have mentioned in your reply. When I double click the file, there are two sub folders .One is named as DriveNavi and another is slm. Installing the two is necessary or installing slm only will be enough for locking the hardisk? What is the purpose of using DriveNavi?
I seldom use the external hardisk. Are there any softwares to prevent the external hardisk or the files stored on it from being damaged?
This is the first time I am going to use MINI STATION HD-PCTU3 external hard disk. So, I do not know what are the softwares are useful and necessary on this external hardisk. Can you recommend me the softwares that you feel to be necessary?
I think "FILES LARGER THAN 4GB MAY NOT BE SAVED TO AN EXNCRYPTION BOX". Then, what I should do to save a file larger than 4 GB? What is the maximum capacity to save to an EXNCRYPTION BOX?
