Title: Linkstation duo - data recovering ?
Post by: hornet76 on January 24, 2016, 01:03:47 PM
Hello,

My Linkstation duo is broken because of thunder I guess.

I'm trying to recover my data by plugging the 2 disks in my Linux Computer through USB Adapter.
I did a rebuild of the raid array (RAID0: striping) with mdadm because the raid component had disappeared from 1 disk.

The problem is that I can see the files but they seem to be corrupted.

See image below: the preview is good but not the full picture
(http://img15.hostingpics.net/thumbs/mini_504484buffalofailed.jpg) (http://www.hostingpics.net/viewer.php?id=504484buffalofailed.jpg)

Do you think there is a solution ? Maybe I made a mistake when I built the raid array (I used a 64kb chunk size).

Thanks for your help.
