Title: LS-x2.0TL not recognized on imac
Post by: cobri00 on January 18, 2016, 09:02:30 AM
Please help. I have a imac osx 10.10.5 and my hard drive is not getting recognized. the connection is a network cable to my mac. I previously used it with time machine and now I keep getting "backup failed" error when time machine tries to connect. I have some very important files on this hard drive.

the NAS navigator does not see it either. That is what I was attempting to do go in as admin and add my other computer but I realized the hard drive wasn't being recognized by anything. the weird thing is I can see it on the network but I can't enter it.

Connect it your router, disable any security software and run the NAS Navigator on a different MAC/PC, can it detect it then?

I did that and my macbook did recognize it but now "I'm getting E30 Drive 1 error. Replace the drive immediately". I really just want to get my stuff off of this drive what should I do next?

The disk is faulty, contact a data recovery company to retrieve the data if you don't have a backup.
