Title: Link Station-VL Series Won't Connect to network
Post by: flyboy50 on January 11, 2016, 09:06:33 AM
Link Station is in "EM Mode"
I have tried resetting Link Station to factory settings
Tried updating firmware but update can't find Link Station on the network
Tried typing IP address into browser
Tried refreshing connection in NASNavigator 2

What do I need to do to have the network discover Link Station!!?

Thanks for any help

If the update cant find the LS then you are either using the wrong firmware version or you have security software blocking the update. What version are you trying to install?

Thanks for the reply,

I am trying to download Firmware ver. 1.71
Turned off firewall and tried downloading LSUpdater.
No go...get message that "LS-GL that needs updating wasn't found"

This means you either haven't extracted all the contents of the firmware download or you are trying to run the exe from within the zipped folder.
