Title: Problem with LS-CH2.0TL since FW update from 1.60 to 1.71
Post by: Watson306 on January 10, 2016, 01:14:09 PM
Hi Guys,
I am new here and I have had a LS-CH2.0TL for a number of years with no problem at all.
And to be honest I very rarely login to the web interface as it is problem free, but I made the mistake today of logging into it and it recommended I update to firmware version 1.71 which I agreed to.

It all went well, but I use the linkstation as a dnla server for my daughters disney films and play them on a sony blueray, but after the update it see's all films (mainly .mkv) as mpeg files and wont play any of them.

Any advise would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Have searched the web and foudn teh answer - so for anyoen else in the same situation.
Log onto Twonky, go to settings, then select Media Recievers, then next to the device you are haveing the problem with in my case it was a Sony Blue Ray, but this was what was selected so if yours is not correct firstly try the correct device if not I selected IOMega NAS and everything is fine now.
