Title: Forgot login and password on network folder on Buffalo NAS
Post by: Orange860 on December 07, 2015, 11:53:44 AM
After a removal I have forgotten the login and password on one of my network folders on my Buffalo NAS. In that folder are loads of family folders. So stupid!

It is a LinkStation Pro™ Duo LS-WVL/R1 and I have it on my desk.

I can download password crackers from the internet, but I am afraid that they will do more harm than solving the problem.

Need help urgently on how to open this folder. Anyone?

Thank you for the information.

But this will only reset the admin password for the NAS itself, not the forgotten password for the network folder.

Any other advice how to solve this problem?

then just log onto the admin page and remove/change the username/password you have associated with the share.
