Title: DriveStation quad - Replace 4 x 2TB disks with higher capacity
Post by: World_Traveller on December 04, 2015, 05:29:42 PM
My DriveStation quad has run out of capacity!    It has 4 x 2TB WD Green disks. The drive is  model HD-QLU3R5 and is out of warranty now

Does anyone know if these can be replaced with four 3/4/5 or 6TB disks then build a RAID array from scratch?
Are there any hardware or software issues etc ?

I don't see any reason why larger capacities wouldn't work TBH
