Title: LinkStation Used to Show Up in Network on File Explorer... No Longer
Post by: gregkash on October 07, 2015, 01:08:29 PM
I need some help.

At work we have an NAS Storage Device

It's an LS-WXL/R1

I used to be able to click on file explorer, and the drive would pop up under computers on network, and I could do that from any computer in the office.
Recently, it hasn't shown up at all. It's still on the Network cuz I can use the Buffalo Software (NAS Navigator 2) to get it, I have it mapped (only on my comp) and I can use it in the web portal. I know it's ON the network because when I click it in map or go to \\LS-WXL or whatever it's named it'll launch the web portal and I get to go it.
How do I make it show up again so every computer can just access it through the network button on File Explorer?
We have a variety of operating systems, from Windows 10 to 7.

This is a Windows thing. This MIGHT correct it:

Thank you, It's not listed under Media Devices either. It's just NOT there when I look at the Network, even though I know it's there.

I gave it a shot anyway and did that, didn't work.

Appreciate the response though.
